| 2006 Digital Cities Convention Taipei |
The “2006 Digital Cities Convention Taipei”, hosted by the Taipei City Government and W2i (Wireless Internet Institute) enables the sharing of experiences among international digital cities. Participants will include mayors, CIOs, elected local government officials, international & community organizations and research institutions from around the world who have been invited to the convention to share new technologies and new mindsets on wireless broadband networks. The participants will also be able to establish partnerships and experience sharing via this international convention to further generate new business opportunities of the digital industry and to move towards an infinite web space and a new era of digital democracy. The “2006 Digital Cities Convention Taipei” will invite domestic and foreign experts to join the keynote session and panel discussion. The Taipei City Government will arrange case studies, technology discussions and result demonstrations of digital cities during the convention, and will hold an “International Cities Motion & Closing Statement” at the end of the Convention.
